A Fond Adieu to Prairie Trail Farm

My friend Renee Troyer Campbell brought new stock for this coming weekend’s shop opening. Renee has been the owner/ herbalist of Prairie Trail Farm in Goshen, Indiana for many years. Her herbal dip, bread, cookie, and soup mixes, herbal sugars, honey, and heavenly scented sachets and potpourris have been  customer favorites at my past shows and now in my shop, too. I’m sorry to report that Renee and her husband are in the process of selling their farm and business in order to retire to the west coast. Today Renee told me that her last event will be the Johnny Appleseed show in Ft. Wayne next month and after that, I will be receiving any remaining inventory to share with our customers here in the mercantile. I’ll miss Renee and wish her well as she turns this page in her (herb) book of life!
