After a quick run to deliver an order this afternoon, I made a "slight" side trip up to Sawyer, Michigan to leave some rack cards and check out a dry sink I'd seen last year. Didn't get the sink, but found a really neat, early side chair that I adopted. You'll see it this coming weekend if you come to the mercantile opening. After finishing up another tall sunflower, this time on a masher (no photo to show yet,) I wanted to get these pear gourds painted to dry overnight. Here they are in progress. They'll look good AND smell good with their dusting of spices! Won't they look wonderful gathered into an old wooden bowl or granite-ware colander?
